WITA – A success story

1961

The foundations for today's company and the Taake Group are laid by Wilhelm Taake, managing director and founder of WITA in the Babbenhausen district of Bad Oeynhausen.

1965

The production location moves to the Böllingshöfen industrial estate.

1980

WITA is transformed into a limited liability company (GmbH).

1982

The company takes over Hüllhorst, a manufacturer of saws and heavy-duty milling machines for the woodworking industry.

1989

Foundation of the company "Vermietung und Verpachtung" ("Rental and lease"). Construction of new production halls and warehouse for WITA.

1990

Taake Group is enlarged when Hüllpol is set up in Poland.

1991

The Taake Group grows with acquisition of the company Helmerding.

1996

Construction of new production halls in Poland; the Polish company is renamed HEL-WITA.

1997

Development and production of the company's own circulation pump.

2001

Since early 2001, the product range has been enlarged to include PUMPS. The WITA circulation pumps of series U 25, U 35, U 55 and U 75 are produced by modern CNC machining centers.

2006

Construction of new production halls and warehouses.

2009

Production of the first high-efficiency pump by WITA.

2011

Expansion of the production and warehouse area at the Bad Oeynhausen location.
